Clans
Which clan plugins are detected, what clan mode changes, and what happens without one.
Clan support is provided by ExyliaLib, not by ExyliaCapture, and it is detected automatically at startup — there is no setting naming which plugin to use.
What is detected
ExyliaLib probes for these eight, in this order, and uses the first one that is present and reachable:
- FactionsUUID / Factions
- HuskTowns
- ZelTeams
- RunithClans
- UltimateClans
- Kingdoms / KingdomsX
- SimpleClans
- ExyliaClans
Any plugin can also register a bridge with ExyliaLib, and a registered bridge beats automatic detection. That is the supported route for a clan plugin that is not on the list.
The console line at startup says which one was picked: Clans: detected '<name>', or
Clans: using registered bridge '<name>'.
The first plugin found wins, so a server running two clan plugins gets the one higher on the list. Every provider reaches its plugin by reflection, so a clan plugin that is installed but whose API cannot be reached is skipped with a console warning rather than taking the slot silently.
What clan mode changes
clan-mode is a per-event setting on KOTH Points, KOTH Capture Points, Payload and DTC. Conquest is
clan-based always and has no toggle.
With it on:
| Behaviour | Individual | Clan mode |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds a zone | One player | The clan, so it survives one member leaving while another stays |
| Who scores | The player | The clan's total |
| Who wins | The player who reached the target | The clan that reached it |
| Who is paid | The player | One representative of the clan |
| Whose stats go up | The player | Every participating member of the clan |
A player without a clan is skipped: they cannot hold the zone and their points are not attributed.
Clan scoring requires both the setting and a detected provider. With the setting on and no provider, the event falls back to individual scoring rather than refusing to run — except Conquest, whose zones cannot register a capturer at all.
Clan statistics
Clan statistics are tracked alongside player statistics, globally and per event: wins, points,
captures and leaderboard points. They feed /capture clantop and the
%exyliacapture_top_clan_<n>_<stat>% placeholders.
A win is recorded for the clan whenever a winning player belongs to one — that happens in both modes, because the win recording looks up the winner's clan regardless of how the event was scored.
