Reveal

Staff can see the players an invisibility potion hides, drawn on the client only.

An invisibility potion hides a player from everyone, staff included. Reveal gives a staff member back the thing the potion took: they see who is standing there, and nobody else's screen changes.

Module id reveal, switch modules.reveal, files under modules/reveal/. Needs PacketEvents.

Commands

CommandPermissionWhat it does
/revealexyliastaff.revealToggles. /seeinvis and /seeinvisible are aliases.

Styles

style in modules/reveal/config.yml picks how a hidden player is drawn:

StyleWhat you see
OUTLINEThey stay invisible and are outlined through walls. The default: it reads faster in a cave.
SOLIDThey are drawn whole, as if the potion were not there.

Either way this is a packet the staff member's client receives. The potion is still running, the player still has it, and every other player still sees nothing.

Where it fits

Vanish hides a staff member from players; reveal shows a staff member a player who is hiding. They are opposite directions of the same question, and neither one touches the other: revealing does not break a vanish, and a vanished staff member can reveal.
