Configuring

Modules

The twelve switches in config.yml, what each one turns off, and what stays behind when it is off.

Every half of the plugin is behind a boolean in modules. All twelve ship as true.

modules:
  claims: true
  dtr: true
  clan-home: true
  bank: true
  allies: true
  levels: true
  lfc: true
  lfp: true
  rivals: true
  regroup: true
  logs: true
  mail: true

A disabled module does three things: its manager is never built, its commands answer with errors.module-disabled, and the menu buttons that open it refuse the click with the same line.

What each one covers

ModuleTurns off
claims/clan claim, /clan unclaim, /clan reclaim, /clan map, the claim tool, the corner pillars, the protection listener and the WorldGuard regions.
dtrThe whole deaths-till-raidable pool: the regeneration task, the freeze, the death broadcast and the raidable state.
clan-home/clan home, /clan sethome and the home waypoints. A clan home stores the server it was set on, so /clan home crosses the network; the waypoint is skipped for a home on another server.
bank/clan deposit, /clan withdraw and the bank menu.
allies/clan ally in all four forms and the allies menu.
levelsEXP, level-ups, kill-streak bonuses and the level menu — including the member, ally and rival caps each level grants.
lfc/lfc, its menus and its expiry task.
lfp/lfp, its menus, applications and its expiry task.
rivals/clan rival and the rivals menu, plus the rival EXP and kill-stat multipliers.
regroup/clan regroup and /clan regroup join.
logsWriting the audit trail at all, the logs menu and /clanadmin logs.
mail/clan mail, the inbox, the unread count on join and the expiry purge.

What the switches do to each other

Turning off `claims` moves the clan home

/clan sethome refuses unless you are standing inside your own claim — but only while the claims module is on. With claims off, a clan home can be set anywhere, which is a very different game.

Turning off `dtr` makes claims permanent

A claim only stops protecting its land when the owning clan goes raidable, which is a DTR state. With DTR off there is no raidable state, so nothing ever opens a claim: territory becomes permanent until it is unclaimed. /clan unclaim and /clan disband also stop being gated on the DTR being at maximum.

Turning off `levels` freezes the caps at the base values

max-members, max-alliances and max-rivals are the numbers in settings, with no bonus added. /clanadmin setlevel and /clanadmin setexp report the module as disabled.

Turning off bank does not empty existing balances, and it does not stop land already claimed from existing — but with no way to fund the bank, no new claim can be paid for.

Turning off rivals leaves existing rival rows in clan_relations untouched; they simply stop being read. Turning it back on brings them back.

Modules and the recruitment pair

lfc and lfp are independent. Running only lfp gives you a job board clans post to; running only lfc gives you a list of free agents clans browse and invite from. The MANAGE_LFP rank permission only matters when lfp is on.
