Statistics
Blocks mined per player and per mine, each mine's top ten, how the counts are written, and where they show.
The plugin counts every block a player breaks through a mine — composition blocks, levels and degrade stages alike — per player and per mine. That is the whole of its statistics, and it is what the leaderboards are made of.
Where they show
| Where | What |
|---|---|
%mine_player_blocks% | Blocks the reader mined across every mine. |
%mine_player_blocks_<id>% | Blocks the reader mined in one mine. |
%mine_blocks_<id>% | Blocks everybody mined in one mine. |
%mine_top_name_<id>_<place>% | The name of the player at that place of the mine's top ten, from 1. |
%mine_top_blocks_<id>_<place>% | Their blocks. |
The /mines menu | Each mine's "Mined by you", and the total. |
| The hologram | %total_blocks%, if you add it to the lines. |
There is no leaderboard screen of its own: place the top placeholders in a hologram plugin, a
scoreboard or a menu. A place nobody holds yet reads — for the name and 0 for the blocks. See
Placeholders.
How they are counted and written
- A break only adds to memory. The counts go to the database every five seconds, in one batch, and when the server stops.
- They are written as additions, never as a saved total. Two servers of a network counting the same player at the same moment both land; neither overwrites the other.
- A player's own counts are read when they join and kept current as they mine, so their placeholders move with every block.
- Each mine's total and top ten are read back from the database once a minute, which is why a leaderboard moves in steps.
Counts live in the mines_stats table, one row per player and mine.
Deleting a mine also deletes every player's count for it, from memory and from the database. A mine you only want to close for a while is better disabled than deleted.
Bringing the history over
A server coming from ExyliaSurvivalCore keeps its leaderboards: the blocks each player mined per mine, as the survival core's stats module counted them, are imported once. See Migration.
