Screens
The six admin screens, what each button and click does, the dialog windows behind them, and the exyliadisplays: actions they call.
ExyliaDisplays has six screens, all for admins. They are ExyliaLib menus under
lang/<code>/menus/admin/, rewritten from the jar on every start: edits to them are lost, so a
release always reaches them.
| Screen | Opened by | File |
|---|---|---|
| Holograms | /holoadmin | hologram_list.yml |
| A hologram | /holo <name> | hologram_hub.yml |
| Its lines | /holo <name> lines, LINES | hologram_lines.yml |
| NPCs | /npcadmin | npc_list.yml |
| An NPC | /npc <name> | npc_hub.yml |
| Its equipment | /npc <name> equipment, EQUIPMENT | npc_equipment.yml |
Every button needs the module's permission: exyliadisplays.holograms or exyliadisplays.npcs.
The lists
One item per hologram or NPC, with what it reads (or its skin as a head), its world, position, line count or actions, and its state.
| Click | Does |
|---|---|
| Left | Opens its editor. |
| Shift-left | Teleports you to it. |
| Right | Deletes it, after asking. |
CREATE HOLOGRAM / CREATE NPC opens the creation window with the presets of config.yml.
A hologram
See Holograms for every button and Lines for the lines screen.
An NPC
See NPCs. The equipment screen shows the six slots (HEAD, CHEST, LEGS, FEET, MAIN HAND, OFF HAND): left-click puts the item in your hand there, right-click empties it.
Dialog windows
Every editing window is an ExyliaLib dialog: one window per section with every field in it, validated as you type and saved together; closing it goes back to the screen. Clients older than 1.21.6 and Bedrock players get the same fields through chat or a form. Single values (a new name, a copy's name) use ExyliaLib's text input.
Actions
The buttons call actions in the exyliadisplays namespace, with holo_ and npc_ prefixes:
| Screen | Actions |
|---|---|
| Hologram list | holo_create, holo_edit, holo_row_teleport, holo_row_delete |
| Hologram editor | holo_toggle, holo_rename, holo_open_lines, holo_appearance, holo_visibility, holo_visibility_mode, holo_click, holo_location, holo_move_here, holo_centre, holo_face, holo_attach, holo_detach, holo_teleport, holo_clone, holo_adjust, holo_open_list, holo_delete |
| Hologram lines | holo_line_text, holo_line_style, holo_line_up, holo_line_down, holo_line_duplicate, holo_line_delete, holo_add_line, holo_add_item, holo_add_block, holo_add_head, holo_all_lines, holo_page_next, holo_page_previous, holo_page_add, holo_page_click, holo_page_delete, holo_open_hub |
| NPC list | npc_create, npc_edit, npc_row_teleport, npc_row_delete |
| NPC editor | npc_toggle, npc_rename, npc_appearance, npc_open_equipment, npc_label, npc_link, npc_interactions, npc_visibility, npc_location, npc_move_here, npc_centre, npc_face_me, npc_teleport, npc_clone, npc_adjust, npc_open_list, npc_delete |
| NPC equipment | npc_equip <slot>, npc_unequip <slot>, npc_open_hub |
They act on the hologram or NPC the screen is about, so they are only useful inside these screens.
