Getting started03
IntroductionWhat ExyliaSpecials is, what it covers, what it needs to run and how this documentation is organised.InstallationThe loader jar and the licence, dependencies and what each optional plugin adds, the files the plugin writes, what goes to the database, languages and updating.First stepsGive yourself a bundled item, change its numbers in game, hand items to players, and write a first item of your own.
Special items06
Special itemsThe item file key by key: settings and texts, the item itself, permission, limits by uses or time, cooldowns, region rules, features and triggers, the order every use is checked in, and what the plugin protects special items from.Action languageEvery step an ability can run: targeting, damage, movement, effects and states, items, blocks, projectiles, feedback, flow control, summons and duels, with every key and its default.StatesThe twelve states an ability can put on a player — invulnerable, frozen, silenced, lifesteal, flight, vanished, last stand and the rest — what each one does, how long it lasts and how it is shown.Bundled itemsThe 70 items that ship with ExyliaSpecials: what each one does, its material, limit and cooldown, and the settings it exposes to the in-game form.ToolsThe fifteen tool features — area break, vein miner, tree capitator, replant, till, seed planter, bone meal, crowbar, infinite buckets, magnet, prospector, compressor, void filter, telekinesis and auto smelt — with every key, how they break blocks, and the in-game editors.Stat trackersTrackers that count kills, blocks, arrows, damage or fish on any item: the eight bundled ones, how players apply them, exactly what each stat counts, the tracker file, and removing or resetting them.
Systems03
CombatWhere the combat tag lives now: ExyliaCombat owns tagging, restrictions, logout NPCs, the safe-zone barrier and vanilla cooldowns; ExyliaSpecials only reads the tag, and moves old settings over.CooldownsCooldowns of special items: where they are set, the action bar, and the commands that change them. Vanilla item cooldowns live in ExyliaCombat.Duels1v1 duels started by an item: building an arena, snapshots and copies, the rules inside an arena, how a duel runs from countdown to loot, what happens on quit, death or restart, and the duel settings.
