FAQ

The questions that come up: price, coming from ExyliaSurvivalCore, graves that do not appear, items that do not fit, networks and where to get help.

Is it free?

Yes. ExyliaGraves is free and open source, under the GNU General Public License v3.0. Download it from Modrinth; the source is on GitHub. There is no licence key and nothing to buy.

I used the graves of ExyliaSurvivalCore. What changes?

The graves module is gone from ExyliaSurvivalCore and lives here now. The table is still sc_graves, so graves standing when you switch are kept as long as plugins/ExyliaGraves/database.yml opens the database that holds them — nothing is copied from ExyliaSurvivalCore's folder. The settings, messages and menu are new files with new keys, and the node is exyliagraves.menu. See Network.

A player died and got no grave

Check, in order: that they have exyliagraves.use; that the world is not in graves.disabled-worlds and does not keep inventories; that the death was not in an arena or duel another plugin owns; that they dropped something; and that there was a free block at most six above where they died. In every one of those cases the drops fall as usual.

Can somebody steal from a grave?

Only once its protection is over (15 minutes by default), or the killer during it while graves.killer-can-loot is on. Set graves.protection-time: -1 to keep every grave its owner's for good. The owner is told who looted it, wherever they are.

My inventory was full when I collected

Nothing is lost. What did not fit is kept and handed over on your next join, on any server, with a line saying how many items were handed to you.

A grave expired while I was offline

With graves.on-expire: DROP its contents are on the ground where it stood; with DELETE they are gone. Either way you are told on your next join.

The head is still there but says the grave is gone

The grave was taken on another server (staff handing it back, for example) and this server has no Redis to hear about it. The click finds the row gone and takes the head down. Configure Redis in database.yml so it comes down at once.

Graves from one server show up on another

Both servers share the database with the same server-id, so each thinks every grave is its own. Give every server its own server-id under redis in database.yml. See Network.

The teleport button does nothing / says I have to walk

Teleporting is off by default: set teleport.enabled: true. With a cost, the player needs the money in ExyliaLib's default currency, and an economy has to be installed. A teleport to a grave on another server needs Redis.

My edits to the admin menu disappeared

lang/<code>/menus/admin/graves.yml is replaced from the jar on every start and every reload. Edit the players' screen under menus/user/ instead — that one is yours.

Is there an API?

No public API or events. Grave activity reaches the ExyliaLib audit log (/exylialib logs), and the placeholders expose a player's graves on this server.

Where do I get help?

On the Exylia Discord: discord.exylia.net. Bug reports and feature requests are also welcome as issues on the GitHub repository.
