Introduction

What ExyliaJobs is, the economy guard that sets it apart, what ships in 1.0.0 and how this documentation is organised.

ExyliaJobs is a jobs plugin built so that jobs cannot print money. Twelve jobs ship ready to play. Players join a few of them, get paid for what they do (mining, farming, fishing, killing, crafting, exploring and more), level up, pick perks, prestige and trade through work orders. Every payout passes through an economy guard that scales it to a budget, so a farm or an exploit cannot flood the server's economy.

It is a premium plugin, installed through a licence loader. See Installation.

The pitch: an economy guard

Most jobs plugins pay a fixed amount per action and leave inflation to you. ExyliaJobs pays through a chain of steps, and four of them guard the money:

  • Market rate: a target many players farm pays less; a target nobody works pays up to 150% once the server has warmed up.
  • Fatigue: one player repeating one target in one spot earns less and less until they move.
  • Budget pacing: one global factor keeps what jobs create near a budget (per active player-hour, or per day), across the whole network.
  • Caps: an optional soft cap per hour and hard cap per day, chosen by permission.

An admin dashboard shows the money created per hour against the budget, by job and player, with flags on suspicious earners, and a weekly Discord report posts the totals. See Economy guard.
