First steps
What a fresh server gives each player, a first vault, giving a rank more and bigger vaults, and a first look as staff.
What a fresh server gives
With nothing configured, every player who has exyliaplayervaults.use (everyone, by default) gets:
| Default | Set by | |
|---|---|---|
| Vaults | 1 | vaults.default-amount, or exyliaplayervaults.amount.<number> |
| Most vaults anybody may have | 9 | vaults.max-amount |
| Rows per vault | 6 (54 slots) | vaults.default-rows, or exyliaplayervaults.rows.<1-6> |
| Buying vaults | Off | purchase.enabled |
| Earlier copies kept per vault | 10 | history.keep |
Vaults cannot be opened in spectator mode or while in combat, and there is half a second between two opens. See Vaults.
A first look
Open the list
/pv opens the vault list: your vaults with how full each one is, and the ones a rank would unlock,
greyed out.
Open a vault
Left-click a vault in the list, or type /pv 1. Put something in and close it: it is written the
moment it closes.
Name it
In the list, right-click the vault and type a name, such as Tools. Shift-right-click picks an icon:
the item in your hand, a material, or a head.
Find something
/pv search diamond says which of your vaults hold diamonds, counting what is inside shulker boxes and
bundles too.
More and bigger vaults for a rank
The largest number a player holds wins, for both nodes:
/lp group vip permission set exyliaplayervaults.amount.3 true
/lp group vip permission set exyliaplayervaults.rows.6 true
/lp group default permission set exyliaplayervaults.rows.3 trueA default player now has one vault of three rows; a VIP has three vaults of six rows. Nobody goes past
max-amount, however high their node. See
Vaults.
Selling vaults
Turn purchases on in config.yml and reload:
purchase:
enabled: true
currency: ''
base-price: 5000.0
price-multiplier: 1.5
max-purchases: 9The next vault a player can buy appears in their list with its price. See Purchases.
A first look as staff
With exyliaplayervaults.admin (operators, by default):
/pvadmin list <player>opens their vault list; clicking a vault opens it for editing./pvadmin view <player> <number>shows a vault as stored, read only, without disturbing whoever has it open./pvadmin history <player> <number>lists earlier copies of it, to look at or put back.
See Staff tools.
Where to go next
- Vaults — sizes, shrinking, the list, restrictions and blocked items.
- Network — several servers on one set of vaults.
- Configuration — every key with its default.
