Holograms and anti-ESP
The packet hologram over every spawner, its lines, optional lines and storage bar, the per-player switch, and hiding spawners from x-ray and ESP clients.
Holograms
Every placed spawner in a loaded chunk carries a hologram made of packets: it costs no entity, and only players who can see it receive it. Lines are filled from memory and sent only when they changed.
The default reads:
ZOMBIE SPAWNER [x24]
Tier 1 » Virtual
■■■■■■■■■■ 61% (filled part green, red once full)
Booster » None (Active while a booster runs)
Corruption » Building (only where corruption applies)hologram.yml
lang/<language>/hologram.yml:
| Key | What it does |
|---|---|
hologram | The hologram itself, an ExyliaLib hologram block: enabled, the lines, the view distance (16 blocks), the offset from the block's centre and the look. See ExyliaLib holograms. enabled: false removes every spawner hologram. |
optional-lines | Lines added under lines only while every placeholder in them has a value, so a feature that is off, or has nothing to say for that spawner, adds nothing. |
bar.length | Segments in %bar% (10, from 1 to 40). |
bar.symbol | The segment (■). |
bar.filled | Colour of the filled part while there is room ({success}). |
bar.full | Colour of the filled part once the storage is full ({error}). |
bar.empty | Colour of the empty part ({letters_black}). |
update-ticks | Ticks between line updates (20; at least 5). |
The placeholders lines and optional-lines can show are listed under
Placeholders. PlaceholderAPI placeholders work in lines too.
Hiding them
A player hides or shows spawner holograms for themselves with /spawners hologram (exyliaspawners.hologram,
everybody by default). The choice is an ExyliaLib player setting, so it is remembered and also appears on the
player's settings screen as Spawner holograms.
Anti-ESP
X-ray and ESP clients find spawners from far away by the block and its data. With anti-esp.enabled on (the
default), players farther than anti-esp.distance blocks (24) from a spawner are sent a plain block in its place,
with none of the spawner's data. Walking closer reveals the real spawner. Chunk data, block updates and block
entity packets are all rewritten, so the spawner never leaks.
| Key | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
anti-esp.enabled | true | Turns it on. Needs PacketEvents; without it the console says anti-ESP is off. |
anti-esp.distance | 24.0 | Closer than this a player sees the real spawner. Never below 8, so nobody can mine or click a spawner they see as another block. |
anti-esp.disguise | AUTO | What far players see: AUTO (the most common solid block around it, else STONE) or a block name such as STONE or DEEPSLATE. |
anti-esp.worlds | ['*'] | Worlds where it applies; * is a wildcard (resource_*). |
Anti-ESP covers ExyliaSpawners spawners. A vanilla spawner nobody has touched yet (a dungeon's) is not one until it is converted.
