Spawners

Storage and selling

The storage screen, taking items, claiming experience with Mending, Full-to-Collect, prices, selling, autosell, /spawners sell, sell wands and who gets paid.

The storage

A VIRTUAL spawner keeps what it makes as counters: one per kind of item, plus one for experience. Two caps apply, both for the whole stack: items in all (the tier's storage value × spawners in the stack) and experience (the xp value × spawners). Upgrading the storage or experience track, or stacking more spawners, raises them.

Production is kept in memory and written to the database every storage.flush-interval (30 seconds), when its chunk unloads and on shutdown. Taking, selling and claiming are written at once, as transactions: the same click twice, two players on the same screen or a repeated packet never take or pay twice. Items are handed over only once the transaction succeeded, and whatever does not fit in the inventory goes back into the storage.

The storage screen

Open it from the spawner's hub (Storage). One row per stored item, live while the screen is open.

Experience and Mending

With collecting.mending-repair on (the default), claimed experience repairs the player's Mending items first, like an experience orb would, and the rest goes to the player.

Full-to-Collect

With collecting.full-to-collect on, items can only be taken out once the storage is full; until then the screen answers with how full it is. Selling is not affected.

Prices

Storage sells through ExyliaLib's prices: whatever the server's shops and worth lists quote for each item, in that quote's currency. With ExyliaMarket installed, its worth list and shop set them. An item nobody quotes stays in the storage, and so does the remainder of an item quoted per lot (quoted per 64, a stored 100 sells 64 and keeps 36).

What a sale pays is multiplied by the spawner's money booster, by the factor of a sell wand, and by any global or personal money boost other plugins grant under the spawners source of ExyliaLib's modifiers (a rank perk, a server-wide event). See Upgrades and boosters.

Who gets paid

Sales always pay the owner

Money from a spawner's storage goes to the spawner's owner, also when a trusted player sells from its screen, when a sell wand sells it, and when autosell sells it. The receipt goes to whoever sold. Only a spawner with no owner (a converted dungeon spawner nobody has claimed) pays the player who sold.

An offline owner is paid through the economy all the same. Every sale is written to the audit log and fires SpawnerSellEvent.

Ways to sell

Shift-right-click an item in the storageOpening the spawnerThat item.
A sell wand on the spawnerOpening the spawnerEverything with a price, at the wand's multiplier.
Autosellexyliaspawners.autosellEverything with a price, every selling.autosell-interval.
/spawners sellexyliaspawners.remoteEvery spawner the player owns on this server, with one receipt.
A click in /spawnersexyliaspawners.remoteThat spawner, here or on another server of the network.

Autosell

Turned on per spawner from the storage screen; turning it on needs exyliaspawners.autosell (not granted by default), turning it off does not. While on, the storage sells itself every selling.autosell-interval (60 seconds), quietly, only while the owner is online on this server and still holds the permission. The flag is kept in the database and survives restarts.

Sell wands

Sell wands of any plugin that asks ExyliaLib's sell targets work on spawners: right-clicking a spawner with an ExyliaMarket sell wand sells its whole storage at the wand's multiplier. The player using it must be allowed to open the spawner; anyone else is told "You cannot sell this spawner". There is no separate spawner wand.

My spawners and /spawners sell

/spawners lists every spawner the player owns, with its world, location, tier, mode, state, storage and experience. With exyliaspawners.remote, clicking one sells its storage from wherever the player stands, and /spawners sell sells all of this server's at once. With network mode the list holds the player's spawners on every server, and a click sells on the server that owns it.
